In our Material Disclosure published on KAP (Public Disclosure Platform) dated 07.03.2024, it was announced that, pursuant to EPDK's Decision No. 12463-2, a pre-license had been granted to our Company for the Barem Ambalaj Cogeneration Facility, with an installed capacity of 37,650 MWm mechanical power (32,000 MWe electrical power), planned to be established in the Ereğli district of Konya province.
Pursuant to the Decision of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority dated 13/08/2026 and numbered 14794-1, a production license numbered EÜ/14794-1/06780 has been granted to our Company for the Barem Ambalaj Cogeneration Facility to be established in the Ereğli district of Konya province.
Under this production license, the coal-fired Barem Ambalaj Cogeneration Facility, with a production capacity of 37,650 MWm mechanical power (32,000 MWe electrical power), is planned to generate 249,600,000 kWh of electricity annually. The production license is valid for a period of 49 (forty-nine) years and will remain in effect until 13.08.2075.
Construction and installation works for our Cogeneration Facility are ongoing. Developments regarding this matter will be disclosed to the public in due course.
